                                                                                 Alvaro

Was born in the city of Barquisimeto,

Venezuela. From the equestrian tradition

of his father's family, Alvaro inherited

from their ancestors the love for horses,

and from there, his special dedication

and interest in these noble animals,

  became a philosophy of life.

Alvaro received from his masters,

THE HORSES, the best knowledge. In

his own, from an early age, he felt the

special vocation to instruct people

interested in the art of riding; then he

prepared professionally, traveling to the

United States, where he received his first

lessons of “DOMA RACIONAL"; and

learn how to develop extraordinary

abilities that lead him to have an

exceptional level of communication through body language with horses. His personal ability in handling the horse and his exceptional skills to communicate with it qualities makes him own the title of natural "Horsemanship", who does not hesitate a moment to share it with humility to all students and anyone who loves horses .

For over eight years he taught clinics and demonstrations in his home country. With a particular style he coached his wisdom and expertise, and prepared many in the ability to properly communicate with the horse. To brake, educate, and train a horse without trauma is a motto that characterizes his professional work.

In 1997, he met Chris Cox, a well known Horseman recognized by the Cowboy Hall of Fame. Alvaro decided from then follow Chris, who became his mentor, then in 2001 Alvaro travels to Texas to learn new methods of Doma Racional and cutting horses by the hand of Chris Cox, at his ranch in Minerals Wells. At that time he accomplished the first 3 levels of Horsemanship in a period of six months.

In 2004 he moved to the United States where he currently lives with his wife Maria Cristina at their ranch “Los Saltos” in Tioga, Texas. There he trains horses and instructs children, youth and adults who are seeking for their knowledge. In 2006, Alvaro returns for level 4 of Horsemanship and a year later, gets his first buckle finishing the 5th level with Chris Cox.

His activity is not limited to train and instruction. Alvaro also devotes her spare time to successfully participate in equestrian competitions in different disciplines; but he cares a little bit more for cutting horses. He shows regularly in Team Penning and Ranch Sorting.

Alvaro states "through real communication with horses, people can develop better attitudes, be more focused, and be disciplined. The horses allow us to keep in touch with our own nature".

Horses have no problems, the problems are inside us.

Maria Cristina

María Cristina Borregales was born in Caracas, Venezuela,

when she was a little girl she moved to Bolivar State,

Venezuela, accompanied by her parents and she began to

make contact with the horses. Her life has been spent on the

backs of these noble animals. Then she began to take her first

steps as a rider when he was just a child.

Riding "Ponche Crema" a noble and gentle mestizo horse,

she spent long hours with his father and the other cowboys

at the hacienda La California, gathering cattle pens to sort

them, and vaccinate them. That was how Maria Cristina started

her love for horses.

By the hand of Mrs. Denise Tissa de Sanoja, at the

Hacienda La Múcura in Upata, she started receiving her first

formal riding English lessons. As she grew, she returned to Caracas,

to start her career at the university, but without leaving her passion:

the horses. When she was on her 20s, she decided to change her

equestrian path from English to Western Riding.

In late 1999, Maria Cristina starts to compete for the first time -in

the western- at the Venezuelan Western Events Association (Asowest)

Finals on her mare "Poco Joe". This beautiful and noble mare has

faithfully accompanied throughout her life as a competitor to the

point that she campaigned for the NBHA USA on her backs.

In 2004, she moved to the United States with her husband Alvaro Rodríguez. They live in Tioga, a small town north of Dallas, Texas at Los Saltos Ranch. Maria Cristina currently is a Sharon Camarillo Co-Instructor. Sharon Camarillo was recognized by the National Cowboy Hall of fame. Today, Maria Cristina travels through the United States, and over seas teaching Barrel Racing Clinics.

From Venezuela to the United States. Now just thinking about success, but without forgetting her roots formed in Venezuela
